How do fees work on The Bait Pail?

There are no hidden or supplemental fees for creating an account like many online store communities.

It’s free to add/publish a listing to the marketplace and the listing lasts as long as you determine. The Bait Pail only earns a commission if you make a sale. After an item sells, there is a 5% commission fee on the sale price (including the shipping price you set) – that’s it. We also collect a 3% + $0.30 payment processing fee (standard fee charged by payment processing companies like PayPal) when a transaction is made. THAT’S IT!

The Bait shop uses USD, so if your bank’s currency is not USD, the amount may differ based on changes in the exchange rate. The payment processing fee may also vary by card type or bank.

It’s easy to set up you own Bait Pail store. Create an Bait Pail account (if you don’t already have one), set your shop location and currency, choose a shop name, create a listing, set a payment method (how you want to be paid), and you’re all set!
